What are the requirements?
Current ISS members and mentors will review all applications and will notify accepted team members by email. Each student will be put into a specific role(s) on the ISS Project Team based on their experiences, education, desire to learn new items, and availability.

Why join?
- extremely rare, out-of-this-world opportunity to send a project to the International Space Station--only a few high schools in the whole world have this opportunity!
- work on a real-world engineering project
- apply science, engineering, and math principles
- learn project design and development process from beginning to end
- gain exposure to electrical and mechanical engineering techniques and principles, software development, documentation, and public relations
- receive MCS course credit
What are the requirements?
- Students in San Diego from 9th grade to 12th grade are welcome to join!
- Please complete the application and email it to Mr. Miller by May 20th, 2017.

- $100 program fee*, a small fraction of the cost for sending the project to the ISS
- Attend the weekly meetings (Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:30 PM), must have reliable transportation to and from meetings at Maranatha Christian Schools in 4s Ranch
- Attend at least one STEM fair during the year
- Contribute actively to the project
